intro

Are you ready to step into the world of biotechnology and become part of a team working on the future of plant-based dairy alternatives, natural colorants, and non-animal protein? Then you are the Bio Process Operator we are looking for!

who are you

  • You have completed a MAS, VAPRO B, or MTS program, or have relevant work experience.
  • Experience in the food industry or hospitality? That’s a big plus!
  • You’re a team player who isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves.
  • Flexibility and adaptability are in your DNA.
  • Experience with TPM/Lean is a nice bonus.
  • You speak English, and if you speak German too, you’re all set.

what are you going to do

As a Bio Process Operator, you play a key role in the production process of innovative biotechnological products. You’ll be part of a dedicated team of operators, working together to oversee PC-PLC-controlled processes in bioreactors. These processes are the heart of our production, and it’s your job to ensure everything runs smoothly. This involves closely monitoring fermentation processes, spotting deviations, and making quick adjustments when necessary. For instance, you’ll be checking temperature, pH levels, and other key parameters crucial to the final product.

What makes the role of Bio Process Operator so interesting is that you won’t just be doing standard production work. You’ll also play an active role in the development of new products. You’ll work closely with the R&D (Research & Development) department to run test productions of innovative food products. Think of plant-based dairy alternatives, natural colorants, and non-animal proteins—products shaping the future of the food industry. You ensure that these trial runs go smoothly and that the results are reliable.

In addition, you’ll be a crucial player in resolving technical issues. When something isn’t working as it should, you step in to fix minor equipment malfunctions. Often, you’ll collaborate with the technical service team to get production lines running optimally as quickly as possible. Preventative maintenance is also part of your responsibilities, to avoid problems in the future.

As a Bio Process Operator, you’ll be working in the food industry, where hygiene is of utmost importance. You ensure that both the equipment and your work environment are always spotless. Moreover, you have a sharp eye for process improvements and actively contribute suggestions for optimization. In short, this is a diverse and challenging role where no two days are the same!

what do we offer you

  • An international work environment full of innovation and challenges.
  • The opportunity to contribute to groundbreaking biotechnological developments.
  • A motivated team where everyone supports each other.
  • A competitive salary and excellent employment conditions.
