Order Management Advisor
Can you keep a cool head when orders are pouring in and customers have questions? Do you love maintaining oversight and ensuring everything runs smoothly from A to Z? Then this job as an Order Management Advisor is perfect for you! You’ll be responsible for processing orders accurately and on time. Whether it’s order processing, customer updates, or resolving an issue—you’ve got it covered. And always with a smile!
who are you
- 1-3 years of experience in a similar role and a Secondary Vocational School diploma
- Fluent in English (Dutch is useful at the coffee machine, and Spanish is a big plus!)
- Experience with Excel and preferably an ERP system
- Multitasking is second nature to you
- No mistake slips through your fingers
- You are precise and strictly follow compliance regulations
- Available from June 1st and unable to take vacation during the summer (except for the first week of July in consultation)
what are you going to do
As an Order Management Advisor, you ensure that orders are processed flawlessly, from request to delivery. Once one of our B2B representatives from our European headquarters submits a request, the process is in your hands. Based on that order, an internal order is created at your location. You verify both orders, enter the internal order, and ensure everything is correct. Once all orders are processed, you notify the European headquarters, which determines which order is shipped first.
You’ll often deal with backorders, as stock at your location is limited, making prioritization key. This means thinking ahead and quickly adapting when deliveries don’t go as planned. While customers usually arrange their own transport, you’ll handle it in exceptional cases in coordination with the logistics department. You’re also the go-to person when something goes wrong. Received a complaint? You’ll log and categorize it accurately, ensuring the right department takes action.
Your role as Order Management Advisor revolves around details, oversight, and communication. You’ll be in touch with customers, internal departments, and logistics partners, keeping everyone updated on their order status. Meanwhile, you ensure all administrative tasks are handled correctly and compliance rules are strictly followed. Since the organization operates across multiple countries, different compliance regulations may apply. But with your cool head, you make sure everything runs smoothly.
