what are you going to do
As a Recycling Production Operator you’ll be working in a 3-shift schedule, so your days are anything but boring. With your team, you make sure the full recycling process of old car tires runs like clockwork. It starts with checking the incoming tires and making sure they’re fed into the production line correctly. You do a visual inspection, and if something looks off, you step in.
Then it’s machine time. You operate different types of equipment, from pre-shredders to water circulation systems, wet washers, and packaging stations. You monitor everything closely—temperature, power usage, cooling systems, spark detection. It may sound technical, but you’ve got the mindset for it. And if there’s smoke, you don’t grab a coffee, you act.
You’ll also perform quality checks on the final product. Are the granulates clean? No bits of steel or fabric left? You inspect, report and fix it. You’ll take samples and help with sieve analysis too, because in this job, data matters.
Minor breakdown? Small repair? No problem. You’ll swap blades, adjust machines, clean parts—whatever’s needed. Meanwhile, you keep your workplace tidy, think along with the team and report unusual things to your shift leader. You work safely, think about the environment and help keep the line running smoothly.
