who are you
- Higher Vocational Education / University working and thinking level (preferably with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Mechatronics).
- At least 5 years of experience in a technical work environment (preferably in a project organization).
- Proficient in MS Office.
- Fluent in Dutch, English, and German.
- Familiar with AutoCAD 2D and Inventor 3D.
- A team player.
- Positively critical and strong in communication.
- Proactive with an assertive approach.
- Strong analytical skills and cost-conscious, operating with a Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) mindset.
what are you going to do
As a Senior Sales Engineer, you will join the Dry department of a global leader in providing transport solutions for the metalworking industry and coolant management. This department consists of a team leader, design engineer, and drafter-constructor. Together with your colleagues, your goal is to achieve optimal sales and revenue results for assigned clients in the German market. As a Senior Sales Engineer, you advise customers, develop cost calculations and proposals, manage the entire process up to delivery, and build and maintain a strong client network. You work closely with colleagues from Sales, Engineering, and Operations.
As a Senior Sales Engineer, you stay well-informed about developments in the market you operate in. Team success is our top priority. In this versatile role, you will work with a team of experienced engineers, translating customer needs into technical concept solutions. You will also collaborate with internal stakeholders to systematically professionalize work processes.
