what are you going to do
Your day as a Stringer Operator starts with a short team briefing where the schedule and any special issues are discussed. Then you’ll get to work setting up and operating the machines that produce solar panels. You make sure the production process runs smoothly and intervene when something goes wrong. This can range from fixing a minor issue yourself to calling in the technical service for more complex problems.
Quality is very important to you. You regularly perform checks on the solar panels to ensure they meet technical specifications and quality standards. Do you see an irregularity? You report it immediately and help resolve the issue. You don’t just inspect the final product, but also the raw materials and semi-finished products used in the process. That way, you ensure only the best materials are used.
As a Stringer Operator, you also track how many panels have been produced, how the machines are performing, and whether there have been any malfunctions or irregularities. You do this by accurately recording data in an Excel document. This information helps continuously improve the production process.
You also contribute to a safe and clean workplace. You work according to safety guidelines and ensure all protective equipment is used properly. At the end of your shift, you hand over your work to the next team so everything keeps running smoothly. This way, you are an essential link in creating sustainable energy solutions!
