Technical Assembler
Are you someone who’d rather hold a wrench than a mouse? Do you get a kick out of putting things together and want to work in a small, fun team without those endless shift rotations? Perfect. Then we’ve got something you’ll want to see.
As a Technical Assembler in Born, you’ll be building cutter bars for harvesting machines. These things won’t run without you—literally.
who are you
- You’ve got technical skills and you’re not scared of an Allen key or a hydraulic hose
- You’re available full-time and ready to get started
- You prefer working in day shifts
- You can communicate in Dutch, English, or German
- You enjoy working in a close team, where your colleagues are more like mates than strangers
what are you going to do
Your day starts with coffee and a quick team chat. No long meetings, just a practical check-in. What’s the plan, who’s doing what, let’s go. You and your teammate are responsible for assembling cutter bars used by farmers across Eastern and Southern Europe to harvest their crops.
You’ll begin by building the base frame. That means installing metal components, guides, and placing various parts exactly where they belong. Then comes the technical side: mounting the cutting mechanisms and connecting the hydraulic hoses.
Is it rocket science? Nah. If you’re a bit handy, you’ll be fine. And if you’re new to this, your colleagues will help you learn the ropes. Everyone’s in it together.
Every cutter bar is built to order. So it’s not conveyor belt work, it’s custom, and that keeps things interesting. One day you’re making a unit for Romania, the next for a customer in Bulgaria. Your job stays varied, and your brain stays engaged.
You’ll be working in a small, tight-knit team with short communication lines. No micromanagement, no drama, just solid teamwork and a few laughs along the way.
