As a Shift Leader Quality Control<\/strong>, you lead a team of quality controllers within one of the two shifts. You start the day with a team briefing where you discuss tasks and planning. Together with your team, you oversee incoming and outgoing product inspections, shelf-life testing, and compliance with internal quality standards.<\/p>\n

You are responsible for training, coaching, and motivating your team members. You encourage independence and professional growth so they feel confident making decisions. You conduct regular evaluations and provide targeted feedback. You also ensure adherence to work instructions, hygiene protocols, and safety standards.<\/p>\n

You analyse deviations and investigate opportunities for improvement. Where needed, you develop improvement proposals and align them with departments such as production or supply chain. You coordinate daily with the QC Coordinator and actively contribute to planning and process optimisation.<\/p>\n

In addition to operational leadership, you play a key role in further professionalising the department. You work according to the PDCA cycle, perform weekly GMP audits, and support the implementation of 5S methodologies. You regularly walk the production floor, listen to employee feedback, and act proactively on risks or bottlenecks.<\/p>\n
