intro

Are you someone who’d rather hold a wrench than sit behind a laptop? Do you get a thrill from assembling things and want to work in a friendly, small team without endless shift work? Perfect. Then we’ve got something you need to see. As a Technical Assembler in Born, you’ll be assembling cutterbars for harvesting machines.

who are you

  • You’re technically skilled and not intimidated by an Allen key or a hydraulic hose
  • Immediately available full-time
  • You prefer working day shifts
  • You’re communicative in Dutch, English or German
  • You enjoy working in a close-knit team (read: your colleagues aren’t just coworkers, they’re your buddies)

what are you going to do

As a Technical Assembler, your day starts with a cup of coffee and a quick check-in with your team. No endless meetings, just a practical update: what’s on today’s agenda, what are the priorities, and who are you working with? Then you get to work with your teammate. Together, you form a duo responsible for assembling cutterbars (which farmers in Eastern and Southern Europe will use to harvest their crops). Believe us: without you, nothing gets done.

You start by building the basic structure. This includes mounting metal frames, attaching guides, and fitting various components in the right place. Then comes the technical part: installing the cutting mechanisms and connecting the hydraulic hoses. Sounds complicated? It’s manageable, especially if you’re a bit technically minded. And if not, your colleagues will help – everyone supports each other here.

Each cutterbar is customized to the customer’s needs. So it’s not assembly line work, but tailored craftsmanship. One day you might be working on a type destined for Romania, the next on a special version for a customer in Bulgaria. This keeps your work as a Technical Assembler varied and challenging.

You’ll be working in a small, tight-knit team where everyone knows each other and you communicate directly with the team leader. No hassle, no micromanagement. Just working together to get the job done – and with some fun, of course.

what do we offer you

  • A starting salary of €15.99 gross per hour, depending on your experience
  • Regular training to keep you sharp as a cutter blade
  • An informal working atmosphere with direct lines of communication – your team leader knows who you are
  • Varied work where no two days are the same
  • Real opportunities for growth. Not an empty promise, but a realistic path upward
